Modular pairing

A solar platform paired with a standalone generator sized to the site. The generator is towed alongside rather than mounted on the trailer.

2 systems: 12 kW continuous, 30.4 kWh of storage, 4.6 to 7.36 kW of solar. Every one publishes its own figures on its own page.

Best for

Loads beyond what a trailer-mounted engine can carry, and sites that already have a generator. The pairing adds silent hours to a machine that would otherwise run all day.

The trade

Two units to move and to position. In exchange the generator is sized to the site rather than to the trailer, and it charges at the inverter's full rate instead of the reduced rate a mounted engine is commissioned at.

What it gives you

  • The generator is chosen for the site, not fixed by the chassis
  • It carries the load and charges the bank at the same time
  • Engine off once the bank is charged — the solar day is unchanged
  • Either unit can be serviced or replaced without the other
