In June 2025, 123eSolar delivered a custom off-grid energy solution designed for U.S. military deployment: a silent solar power system, installed on the vehicle, that travels anywhere the vehicle goes.

We integrated our 4.5 kW mobile solar array into a field-installable system for the M998 HMMWV, providing a stealth, silent power solution that travels anywhere the vehicle goes.

With 30 kWh of onboard energy storage and 12 kW of continuous output, this system supports mission-critical operations where diesel generators fall short.

No trailer. No tow-behind. Just clean, mobile energy.

Designed and manufactured by 123eSolar

123eSolar designs and manufactures custom-built solutions. This system is one of them: not a trailer from our product line, but a power system engineered around the vehicle that carries it.

The solar array, the energy storage and the power output were built as one package for the M998’s cargo bed, installable in the field. Closed, the array rides in its enclosure on the bed; parked, the panels open out over and around the vehicle.

When a requirement does not fit a standard configuration — a vehicle instead of a trailer, a shelter, a site with no room to tow — we design the system around it and build it ourselves.
